Second weekend of the 7th Annual Sin City Shootout Street/Ball Hockey Tournament is in the books. Great weekend of hockey that saw the closest C/D and Coed Divisions played to date. It was so tight that playoff seeding across the entire 14-team C/D Division came down to the outcome of the final pool game played on Saturday evening. All but one of the 19 teams participating this past weekend (C/D & Coed) completed pool play with points (12 of 14 C/D teams had at least one win), with the lone team not to earn points in pool play battling its way through the playoff rounds to win the D Division title. Amazing weekend all around. Congrats to the following teams/players:
C Division:
Champions - Misfits
MVG - Dennis Smithson (Misfits)
MVP - Tyler Hill (Misfits)
MVP - Todd Spycher (Ballhawgs)
MVP - John Bearer (Misfits)
D Division:
Champions - Take It & Go
MVG - Angelo Bordignon (Take It & Go)
MVP - Shaun Tarnawsky (Tirecraft Studs)
MVP - Moeed Chaudhry (Take It & Go)
Coed Division:
Champions - Sparks Coed
MVG - Raj Chadha (Floor Play)
MVP - Amanda Brown (Sparks Coed)
MVP - Simon Thomas (Sparks Coed)
I will have the final tournament stats posted on the website shortly.
